Wired or Wireless Networks

A network can provide either a cable connection to each room or a wireless connection across your site. Whether you need to carry your Internet connection over Ethernet, phone line or television cable, we have a wired solution to fit your requirements. Our wireless solutions are ideal for outdoor areas such as pools, caravan parks or a caf and for those properties who want to cover a wide area with wireless Internet, we have boosters to cover most properties.

Flexible Administration

Should you wish to charge your customer for Internet access, NetComms solutions offer multiple ways to allow permission for your guests to access the network. NetComm products can use a username and password issued from your PMS or alternatively, an Internet connection can be accessed with a printer that issues a ticket with username, password, time and amount owed for the time connected to the Internet.

Property Management System Integration

The NetComm system can integrate billing into your property management system which frees up your staff from entering manual posts. It can also simplify the experience for your guests as it becomes automated and they do not need to speak to hotel staff to get connected.

Bandwidth Speed Management

Bandwidth allocation between networks and among users maintains the quality of service for all users.  The NetComm equipment ensures that each person on your network gets equal access to your internet connection. This is important so that one person cannot take all the connection and fast speeds - meaning all users have a pleasant connection experience.

Printing

The NetComm interface enables guest to print to an onsite printer while maintaining a consistent and seamless guest experience. Billing options are managed by the hotel.

Credit Card Billing

Credit Card Billing enables hotels to seamlessly charge for guest HSIA and eliminates manual postings. Credit Card facilities offer an alternative to PMS posting and gives the guest the comfort of having payment options. (a credit card merchant account must be set up with SecurePay Australia)

Flexible Pricing and VIP Guest Passes

As you own the equipment the pricing and time settings are decided by you, the property owner. This allows you to set your pricing to compete with other properties in your area and to price based on your location (country or metro).

As you own the network you can also allow your preferred guests to access the Internet free of charge. VIP's can receive preferred treatment that is easy for the hotel to deliver and ensures a superior guest experience.

Spam Control

Through the NetComm NetAssure service we can limit the number of emails a user may send, limiting the risk of spamming in the property optimising network performance and guest satisfaction and ensuring that your site is not blacklisted by your ISP.

Network Intrusion Detection Reporting

Network Intrusion Detection Reporting Tracks and reports on automatically detected and proactively blocked outbound (hotel-to-Internet), parasitic, virus generated traffic allowing hotels to proactively manage security responses with their guests.

Guest In-room Support Experience

Hotel guests can contact a help desk between 7am and 11pm 7 days a week for assistance in connecting to your hotel network. This ensures a superior guest experience and will maximise your return if every guest who wants the service can connect and allows you to charge them for the service.
