Networking

Networking is the ability to connect more than one computer together into a group in order to share files, resources, increase storage and efficiently communicate with one another.

Many people who use a computer at work take networking for granted and, with a greater number of households now having more than one computer, there is also a growing trend towards home networking.

NetComms networking equipment is ideal for home, small office/home office and small to medium business users to connect computers together in a LAN (or Local Area Network) using cable or wireless.

The most common networking options are:

  •
  • ADSL Modem Router a broadband modem router with several ports combines the functionality of a modem with the networking capability of a router. (Also available in Wireless)
  •
  • 3G Wireless Router allows use of a single 3G mobile broadband connection to create a wireless network
  •
  • Ethernet Over Power HomePlugs use the existing electrical wiring in your home or office to create a network
